Director of Global Talent Acquisition

The Director of Global Talent Acquisition is a critical business partner for the RI leadership
team and key business stakeholders. You will develop and implement a talent acquisition
strategy in line with our organisational strategy. Designing and implementing a network and
sourcing strategies to create a pipeline of talent of professionals to support RI’s growing
staffing needs. Your role will be to plan and drive recruitment quality standards across the
organization. Responsible for filling Head office (known at RI as Global Support Office)
positions and senior leadership roles across the organization and globally.
To be successful in this role you will bring proven experience in leading talent acquisition in
a global fast paced, matrix organisation. You will have previously set up systems and tools to
monitor recruitment quality and deliverables, together with ensuring compliance and best
practice to Data Protection, Safeguarding and equality.

Liberia Country Manager, Accelerator

Evidence Action’s Accelerator is aiming to launch a new program to support the Liberian government to increase screening and treatment for maternal syphilis via introduction and scale-up of a dual HIV/syphilis rapid test within antenatal care settings. We are seeking a high-performing, experienced Manager to lead this program. This role offers the exciting opportunity to spearhead the development of a new program, to build and manage a high-performing team, and to develop and manage key partnerships with government, development partners, and other non-profit organizations to advance the interests of the program and achieve national-scale coverage of syphilis screening and treatment.

Ultimately, the Liberia Country Manager, Accelerator will be responsible for launching Evidence Action’s country office in Liberia, and will be potentially supporting the further expansion of maternal syphilis in additional countries as the program grows. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial and able to effectively drive progress in an independent environment.

2027 MULTIPLE POSITIONS FOR EURASIA REGIONAL PROGRAMS DEPARTMENT

Programs staff provides strategic and programmatic guidance to NED grantees in Central Asia, including assisting them with program development and design, offering creative solutions to political and technical challenges, providing administrative advice, and facilitating contact with like-minded organizations throughout the region. Title, supervisory responsibility, and salary are commensurate with experience.

2028 PROGRAM ASSISTANT, EUROPE

The Program Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and programmatic support to the Europe Regional program staff. This position reports to the Senior Director for Europe.

2029 PROGRAM OFFICER/ ASSISTANT PROGRAM OFFICER SOUTHEAST EUROPE

The Assistant Program Officer (APO) or Program Officer (PO) will work with the regional director and senior program staff to manage the Endowment’s grant programs in the Southeast Europe region, with emphasis on Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia, including monitoring and assessment of projects.

2030 ASSISTANT PROGRAM OFFICER, INTERNATIONAL FORUM FOR DEMOCRATIC STUDIES

The Assistant Program Officer will help plan and administer an active research and conferences program, perform routine financial tasks, assist with budgeting procedures, and conduct research on democracy and related issues. This position provides an excellent opportunity to advance research, writing, and administrative skills, and improve knowledge of democratization and international affairs.

2031 ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL FORUM FOR DEMOCRATIC STUDIES

The Associate Director will assist in managing wide-ranging aspects of the International Forum for Democratic Studies’ research and conference initiatives. The Associate Director will play a central role in helping to define the Forum’s strategy, events, and substantive outputs, and should possess a demonstrated track record of engaging (through public speaking, published writing, and private fora) at a high level with senior-level decision makers. The Associate Director will work closely with the Forum’s Senior Director to supervise financial planning and coordination of multiple activities, publications, and other products. The Associate Director will also deepen links with other NED programs and departments as well as with counterpart organizations in the democracy community.

2032 PROGRAM OFFICER/ ASSISTANT PROGRAM OFFICER, SOUTHEAST ASIA

The Assistant Program Officer or Program Officer will work with the Asia team leadership to manage the Endowment’s Southeast Asia program, particularly programs in Thailand and the Philippines, including monitoring and assessment of projects in the region.

2033 ASSISTANT EDITOR, JOURNAL OF DEMOCRACY (JOD)

The Assistant Editor will be involved in all aspects of the Journal of Democracy’s editorial operations, including editing, proofreading, carrying out research, performing information-management tasks, and providing administrative support to the Coeditor.

2035 PROGRAM ASSISTANT, INTERNATIONAL FORUM FOR DEMOCRATIC STUDIES

The Program Assistant provides administrative, research, and operational support to NED’s Vice President for Studies and Analysis and the Senior Director of the International Forum for Democratic Studies. The ideal candidate will have an interest in democracy studies or a related field, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, be mission driven and be able to handle multiple administrative tasks while maintaining focus on longer-term research and other projects.
