Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Washington, D.C. reports to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and assumes a strategic role in the management of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. The CFO has direct responsibility for accounting, finance, treasury, and contracts and grants. The CFO has the responsibility for managing financial IT infrastructure; in addition, the CFO will dedicate time to support resource development related to the financial budgeting of all proposals and awards.

Program Associate, Initial Resettlement

HIAS seeks a Program Associate to provide programmatic support to the Reception and Placement (R&P) Program, to include engagement with HIAS headquarters support departments, HIAS Resettlement Affiliates across the country, U.S. National Resettlement Agencies (RAs) and other stakeholders that will ensure high quality and responsive refugee programming across the HIAS network. S/he is involved in all aspects of post-arrival R&P programming. Technical Director, Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH)

LWR & IMA is seeking highly motivated individuals for a Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) Lead position for the USAID MOMENTUM (Moving Integrated, Quality Maternal and Newborn Health and Family Planning and Reproductive Health) APS Round 1 “MNCH/FP/RH Service Delivery in Fragile Settings.” The $200 million projects seek to support countries early in their journey to self-reliance to overcome the impacts of fragility on the population’s health and contribute to countries’ movement along the development continuum toward reduced maternal mortality and increased self-reliance.

The MNH Lead will provide technical leadership and oversight for the upcoming global USAID MOMENTUM Round 1. The MNH Lead will lend technical expertise in MNH with an emphasis on issues for fragile health systems and access.

The position will operate under the leadership of the Senior Technical Director for MNH/FP/RH and will help ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all MNH project activities. In collaboration with the project team and partners, the position will support the design and implementation of service delivery strategies based on scientific evidence.

This position is contingent upon award from USAID and will be based in DC.

Technical Director, Social Behavior Change (SBC) and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH)

Staff Attorney

The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, (the Campaign) is a leader in the fight to reduce tobacco use and its devastating consequences in the United States and around the world. It is the principal policy advocacy organization devoted primarily to countering the lethal influence of the tobacco industry on public policy.
The Campaign seeks a Staff Attorney to engage in cutting-edge legal and policy advocacy, and related litigation. Based in Washington, D.C. and reporting to the Vice President for Legal and Regulatory Affairs, the Staff Attorney will provide legal and policy support for regulation of the tobacco industry, including e-cigarettes, by the Food and Drug Administration, as well as state and local tobacco control efforts. The Staff Attorney will play a leading role in high-profile litigation related to FDA regulation of tobacco products and the legal defense of state and local tobacco control laws, including the preparation of amicus briefs. At least 6 years of predominately litigation experience, is required.

Chief International Operations, Finance & Compliance Officer

The Chief International Operations, Finance & Compliance Officer is a member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the President/CEO, that provides strategic leadership and direction in the areas of country operations, international financial management, international programmatic oversight and review, international grants compliance (US Government and other donor/s), and the overall monitoring and evaluation of country offices. This position entails high-level responsibility for ensuring that Feed the Children’s international offices comply with the organization’s policies and procedures, U.S. federal grant compliance, donor requirements, local country laws and regulations, and other applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.

Grants Manager

The Grants Manager is responsible for overseeing comprehensive grants management across GHR and client foundations including all technical components of grants processing, compliance requirements, payment approval process, and streamlined operations; managing the grants data base including effective and efficient data management and analysis; and providing training across organization generally and program team specifically to provide highest-quality customer service to support an integrated system across the organization
