Grants Officer

The Grants Officer supports effective grant management across Tides’ four key areas of responsibility: Grant Making, Grant Monitoring & Reporting, Capacity Building, and Stakeholder Engagement. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Grants Officer will help issue, monitor, and report on grants while also supporting grantee capacity building and stakeholder engagement initiatives. As part of the position’s responsibilities, the Grants Officer will manage the pipeline of grant making from intake to approval and then management and closeout. As such, the Grants Officer’s primary role is to liaise with grantees and serve as the first point of contact with grantees. The position will strengthen Tides’ grant management and support continued development of each hub’s core infrastructure and capacity. This role is embedded within the CSII team structure working with multiple funders, donors, implementers, regional hubs, and grantees. In order to successfully perform this task, it is necessary to coordinate effectively with different team members and stakeholders across a variety of organizations.

Senior Finance Associate, Grants

The Sr. Finance Associate, Grants role is a central part of the Finance & Operations team reporting to the Controller, with a critical dotted line support function to the Fund’s Grant Programs team. The Sr. Finance Associate will help ensure robust and compliant financial oversight and management for subawards, valuing over $10+ million per year.

The Senior Director demonstrates deep commitment to the Endowment’s mission, exceptional political acumen and programmatic judgement, as well as strong leadership and management skills. The Senior Director is responsible for, either directly or through subordinate managers, supervision and development of staff, including hiring, development and discipline.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Program Officer (APO) or Program Officer (PO) will work with the regional director and senior program staff to manage the Endowment’s grant programs in Eastern Europe region, with emphasis on Ukraine, including monitoring and assessment of projects.
