ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT – MAJOR GIFTS

As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the iconic CARE package, we have ambitious fundraising growth plans that will see us save and improve 200 million lives in 100 countries. The AVP of Major Gifts is a key leadership position in CARE’s dynamic and ambitious fundraising team and will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, President, Board and senior peers to raise big gifts and significant funds from individuals who have the ability to give from $1,000 to $50 million. The AVP of Major Gifts will lead a group of 34 hugely talented major gift, planned gift and mid-level professionals across the country to raise significant funds for CARE’s work, including $5 million + mega gifts. In the past three years we have doubled our major gift revenue, set up a mid-level program and supercharged our planned giving. We seek to inspire and partner with individual givers who share of vision of a world without poverty and inequality and believe we can get to $100 million a year from the major gifts program.

TALENT MANAGEMENT BUSINESS PARTNER

The Talent Management Business Partner has responsibility for advancing CARE’s Talent Management strategy and implement core talent programs such as talent reviews, career development, succession planning and internal talent mobility. S/he will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Regional Directors, Country Directors, HR Generalists and business partners to assess global talent needs and business gaps and implement appropriate strategies, processes, and systems to advance talent management within CARE USA. In addition, s/he will assist Sr. Management in developing high potential talent in order to build a diverse future pipeline of leaders. We are looking for a talent management expert who has the ability to challenge conventional practices, think big and facilitate end-to-end talent management processes.
This role will report to Sr. Dir, HR Business Partnerships and will provide HR support of one of our key global functions in areas of organizational design performance management, onboarding, ER, and overall employee engagement.

The Carter Center: Controller, Finance

The Controller is responsible for the management and supervision of the central accounting function at The Carter Center. Duties include management of all audit and tax reporting, oversight of the payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly close processes, management of policies and procedures documentation, and oversight of space management/facility services.
