Americares Human Resource department takes a leadership role in providing service in support of Americares vision by promoting the concept that our people are our most valuable resource. We act as a catalyst to enable all Americares people to contribute at optimum levels toward the success of our humanitarian and public health program objectives.  We provide programs, services and advice that help the organization attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse workforce within a supportive mission-driven work environment.  We do this with an emphasis on customer service based on consultation, best practice, and communication with Americares management and staff, globally. 

 

 POSITION SUMMARY:

 

We are seeking an experienced bilingual (English – Spanish) recruiter who will join our human resources team to support surge recruitment needs for local and global employee as Americares expands our work across the globe.  This position will support the ongoing recruitment needs with a focus on surge support for emergency response and phone screening candidates to assist with building the emergency response cadre roster. 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs for open positions 

  • Provide general recruitment support including: 

  • Defining job requirements and responsibilities 

  • Posting open positions to external recruitment sites 

  • Screening resumes 

  • Conducting phone/Skype interviews 

  • Coordination of interviews 

 

Other Assignments 

 

 
  • Assist in the completion of other accounting tasks, as assigned 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Must Have Skills/Experience: 

 

 
    • BA or equivalent, Human Resources degree preferred
    •  3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
    • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Cornerstone on Demand a plus)
    • Must be able to communicate in both Spanish and English at a professional level
    • Experience with global recruitment a plus
    • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
