About The Job:
The Domestic Operations Assistant (DA) provides high quality, reliable office administration, operations, and facilities management support. The Domestic Operations Assistant organizes, coordinates, and helps manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
This position is based in our Washington DC office. Monday – Friday from 10am to 3pm. There will not be any international or domestic travel requirements.
About The Ideal Candidate:
We are searching for an organized, energetic self-starter to be our new Domestic Operations Assistant.
To be successful as an operations assistant, you should possess excellent communication skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Domestic Operations Assistant Responsibilities include:
Assisting the Senior Director, Domestic Operations with administrative & operational tasks.
Promptly answering operational questions of staff and other stakeholders.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Sort and distribute mail & packages to respective personnel.
Store, file and retrieve corporate documents and reports as and when needed.
Order, store and organize all office supplies.
Manage incoming and outgoing letters and packages.
Perform general office administrative and clerical duties.
Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager.
- One to three years office administration / administrative assistant experience
- Four years of high school, vocational school or equivalent required.
- Two years of college or technical school preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of Office 365 & SharePoint a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb organizational skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn.
