TITLE: Senior Learning Solutions Specialist
SUPERVISOR: Learning and Technologies Manager (40% of the role will be task managed by the
Member Services Manager)

Position Overview
The primary and core purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality digital learning experience for
Humentum. This is achieved through managing our learning systems/platforms and working with both
internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality customer service is achieved. In addition act as
a core member of the Humentum Learning Services (HLS) team, this role will work with customers,
clients, members and subscribers to ensure they are utilizing their online learning tools and products to
deliver on their stated needs and achieve value for money.

Key Responsibilities

Humentum Learning Services (HLS) (40%)
● Act as a key contact and advisor to subscribers ensuring their use of Humentum online learning
tools is successful
● Host, facilitate and manage learning events, meetups and conferences locally and
● Manage potential, new and existing subscriber relationships in relevant time zones
● Manage escalated support for HLS subscribers and Humentum learners through the helpdesk
● Manage the HLS knowledge base allowing subscribers to receive self-help support through
online videos and documentation
● Maintain the HLS online catalog and provide and oversee testing, uploading, and retirement of
new on-demand courses

Learning Systems (30%)
● Assist the Learning and Technologies Manager with ensuring the support function is effective,
efficient and customer-centric
● Resolve any technical issues relating to the learning systems/platforms, liaising with providers
where necessary
● Support the testing, development, and release of new products and systems
● Train all relevant stakeholders in the use and implementation of new learning systems and
● Act as a technical expert to support the delivery of projects across the organization that require
the use of learning systems/platforms
● Manage the SCORM Dispatch service

Courses (20%)
● Manage the creation of all online course instances for open and in-house workshops, within the
learning systems/platforms
● Assist with on-demand course updates and fixes

Data (5%)
● Maintain the Humentum data dashboards and manage all required data reporting
Other duties (5%)
● Contribute to Humentum’s other activities as appropriate
● Other duties commensurate with the post and as required


Qualifications and desired experience
● Learning-based qualification
● Project management qualification
● Extensive experience in managing and deploying learning management systems and other
organization learning tools
● Proven experience in managing multiple complex projects on time, in scope and on budget
● Experience in advising organizations to improve their learning function through business
partnering, mentoring, and coaching
● Experience managing, analyzing, and using data to drive success.
● Proven experience in designing, delivering, and producing learning experiences for individuals,
groups, and organizations
