Tele-Mental Health Technology Consultant

The key deliverable of this RFP is to provide recommendations and guidance on which low, medium or high-tech available tele-health technologies CVT can employ to deliver its services safely and effectively using in its international (non-US) site locations which include both urban and refugee camp settings. The selected vendor is expected to collaborate with a key clinical and administrative points of contact and other consultants in each project to identify which technologies adaptations may be feasible in that context. Additionally, the vendor should provide recommendations of methods of use for telehealth utilizing low-tech solutions. An example of this would be SMS stabilization messaging systems using prepaid phones.

Global Mobility Consultant

In recent years, HIAS has expanded its global footprint requiring an increase number of expatriate staff managing oversees programs and remote headquarters staff. HIAS is seeking a consultant with demonstrated experience in helping International NGOs with cross border work forces to help HIAS develop its global solution to its global workforce. The consultant will review how HIAS is handling the overall program including; payroll and tax compliance, double taxation, benefits, home and host country laws and regulations, and other aspects of its remote workforce while aligning with HIAS’ goals and objectives.

International Program Senior Specialist – PHIA

The International Program Senior Specialist optimizes the day-to-day business operations of the University of Maryland Baltimore’s (UMB) special projects in sub-Saharan Africa, primarily Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo. These responsibilities are accomplished by applying theoretical knowledge, principles, and concepts to the practical management of the operational activities of UMB’s affiliates and branches. This position is expected to provide solutions to complex challenges, prioritize critical requests and needs from the field offices, and support compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible for efficient and effective solutions by independently analyzing the current international operations, identifying internal client needs, creating reports, developing improvement plans, and assisting country offices in implementing changes.

Social Services Consultant

The Social Services Consultant will work with the KIND Social Services team to develop best practices, protocols, and provide training and support on relevant topics for KIND staff. This will particularly be valuable for children who migrate to the U.S. as it will assist in avoiding re-traumatization and allow for enhanced continuity of care for children who obtain legal representation at KIND field offices in the United States. The consultant will work with unaccompanied children and families in various settings (shelters, camps, community sites, etc.) facing migration challenges at the U.S.-Mexico border through KIND’s Juarez, Mexico operations. The desired candidate will have experience working with International NGO’s in direct service provision, substantial knowledge and understanding of unaccompanied and refugee children issues and working knowledge of working with populations on the move.
