Director, Human Resources

The Human Resources Director will function as a strategic advisor on all human resources functions and will partner with OGP’s executive leadership team to develop and implement strategies, programs, and systems to promote the achievement of OGP’s mission. At the same time, the Director will need to have the skills and ability to implement HR-related tasks, rather than delegating to others.

The Director will build credibility throughout the organization by establishing relationships with management and employees, and will be an accomplished communicator, listener and problem solver.

The Director will promote cross functional learning, collaboration, and the sharing of information, experiences, and best practices, while serving as vocal and visible champion of OGPs culture, values and approach, creating opportunities for inspiration, integration and improvement.

The Director will be responsible for designing, executing and maintaining progressive, flexible, and legally-sound human capital programs in a rapidly changing, global workplace.

This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Chief Financial and Operations Officer.

Associate Director, Financial Management

Reporting to the Director of Financial Management, the Associate Director provides first-level day-to-day supervisory direction to New York-based accounting staff and support for procurements, accounts payable, and subawards. Provides first-level: financial review and oversight from the New York headquarters office for a portfolio of country offices in which ICAP operates. Supervises the preparation and review of the journal entries to record payroll and transaction data from the local country offices, advance requests (wires) to fund the country offices, and subaward and procurement vouchers in the Columbia University Accounting and Financial Reporting system for all countries within the portfolio of countries supported. Primarily manages the Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor and Cash Management Team Accountants as well as provide support, oversight and monitoring for all areas of Financial Management, including procurements, accounts payable and subawards, under the guidance of the Director of Financial Management

Director, Treasury and Investment

The Treasury Director, with the CFO, determines the vision, strategy and operations of the treasury and cash management functions for Americares worldwide. She/he advises senior management and Board of Directors on organizational asset investment matters and provides timely and accurate management reports to support the function. Operationally, the Director assures the efficient management and recording of the organization’s cash, including investing funds in appropriate vehicles for short and long term needs, providing analytical reports to enable informed management decision making and managing relationship with various financial service vendors for optimum service and pricing. Duties of this position also include the management of cash transfers between Americares’ accounts around the world, review and reconciliation of the monthly statements from Americares’ money managers, management and coordination of the Investment Manager (outsources consultancy), the banking relationships, and the management of any of Americares’ letters of credit with donors. The Director also oversees the management of how all various types of receipts are invested. The Director will perform her/his duties under the guidance and instructions of the CFO/SVP Operations of Americares. Regional Deputy Director – Africa

The Deputy Director supports the Regional Director in program implementation, administration, financial management, personnel evaluation and oversight, strategic planning and business development. The Deputy Director will also serve as acting Regional Director when required.

Country Consultant – Zambia

World Renew, an international development and disaster response organization, is an agency of the Christian Reformed Church in North America, and is looking to hire a Country Consultant for our Zambia office. This position is based in Zambia and will lead, manage, represent, and set the overall direction of World Renew’s community development and disaster response work in Zambia. The Country Consultant must ensure that the country strategy, partnerships, and operations are in line with World Renew’s vision, outcomes, policies and procedures, with the Southern Africa regional strategy, and with host government regulations. Security management, networking with other important stakeholders within the country, providing consulting to at least one local partner organization engaged in the Church in Community approach, and contributing to the overall functioning of the Ministry Team, are also important functions in this position.
