We are hiring many experienced professionals in the Bureau of Administration’s Office of Procurement Executive (Rosslyn, VA) who will manage and administer grants and agreements on behalf of the U.S. government. If eligible, applicants may be referred to similar positions in other Bureaus in the Department located in the Washington, D.C. metro area, which may require up to a Top Secret security clearance.

The AVP of Major Gifts is a key leadership position in CARE’s dynamic and ambitious fundraising team and will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, President, Board and senior peers to raise big gifts and significant funds from individuals who have the ability to give from $1,000 to $50 million. The AVP of Major Gifts will lead a group of 34 hugely talented major gift, planned gift and mid-level professionals across the country to raise significant funds for CARE’s work, including $5 million + mega gifts. In the past three years we have doubled our major gift revenue, set up a mid-level program and supercharged our planned giving. We seek to inspire and partner with individual givers who share of vision of a world without poverty and inequality and believe we can get to $100 million a year from the major gifts program.

Finance Associate, Grants

The Finance Associate, Grants role is a central part of the Finance & Operations team reporting to the Senior Finance Associate, with a critical dotted line support function to the Fund’s Grant Programs team. The Finance Associate will help ensure robust and compliant financial oversight and management for subawards, valuing over $10 million per year.

Manager, International Operations and Business Continuity

The Manager of International Operations and Business Continuity has primary responsibility for coordinating the foundation’s international operations and business continuity functions across all of its geographies. This position reflects the recognized need to strategically improve the foundation’s effectiveness and efficiency through improved coordination of operational functions as well as the need to standardize business continuity planning globally. In addition to partnering with the Regional Directors and NY operational departments to provide operational oversight of the regional offices, the manager will be responsible for partnering with the Deputy COO to coordinate the foundation’s global safety and security function with a focus on coordinating response and decision-making in high risk situations.


The Talent Management Business Partner has responsibility for advancing CARE’s Talent Management strategy and implement core talent programs such as talent reviews, career development, succession planning and internal talent mobility. S/he will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Regional Directors, Country Directors, HR Generalists and business partners to assess global talent needs and business gaps and implement appropriate strategies, processes, and systems to advance talent management within CARE USA. In addition, s/he will assist Sr. Management in developing high potential talent in order to build a diverse future pipeline of leaders. We are looking for a talent management expert who has the ability to challenge conventional practices, think big and facilitate end-to-end talent management processes.
This role will report to Sr. Dir, HR Business Partnerships and will provide HR support of one of our key global functions in areas of organizational design performance management, onboarding, ER, and overall employee engagement.

AMIDEAST Country Director, MENA Region

The AMIDEAST Country Director will serve as the organization’s senior representative in the country of assignment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, fostering positive relationships with host country government officials, key clients, partners, and donors.

Human Resources Generalist, Humanitarian Response

This position is responsible for providing oversight of the volunteer program and professional level support in the areas of general HR. HR Generalist will manage the volunteer needs of the organization – including volunteer recruitment, engagement, deployment, retention and recognition. Rwanda Country Director

The primary focus of the Country Program is to work in partnership with the Rwanda Government to protect globally significant biodiversity and the critical natural resource base within and outside of protected areas. This includes a diverse set of actions that aid the Rwanda government accomplish its goal of achieving green, sustainable development by 2050, as well as the development of a major new project helping advance climate resilience and connectivity among national parks along the Congo Nile Divide with financial support from the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
