Program Associate, Initial Resettlement

Contracts Officer

This position also assists department management with timely access to financial statements to perform analysis of actual vs budget variances and forecasting.

The Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) is an independent not-for profit organisation that works with media and civil society to promote positive change in conflict zones, closed societies, and countries in transition around the world.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager for a fixed term until September 2021 to manage and ensure the successful implementation of a number of communications and information-based pre-agreed sub-awards and project activities being made by IWPR under a cooperative agreement with the US Government;

The successful candidate will have extensive USG implementation experience; a track record in ensuring USG compliance and oversee all aspects of the subaward, from budgeting to reporting and designing effective monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.

Technical Director, Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH)

LWR & IMA is seeking highly motivated individuals for a Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) Lead position for the USAID MOMENTUM (Moving Integrated, Quality Maternal and Newborn Health and Family Planning and Reproductive Health) APS Round 1 “MNCH/FP/RH Service Delivery in Fragile Settings.” The $200 million projects seek to support countries early in their journey to self-reliance to overcome the impacts of fragility on the population’s health and contribute to countries’ movement along the development continuum toward reduced maternal mortality and increased self-reliance.

The MNH Lead will provide technical leadership and oversight for the upcoming global USAID MOMENTUM Round 1. The MNH Lead will lend technical expertise in MNH with an emphasis on issues for fragile health systems and access.

The position will operate under the leadership of the Senior Technical Director for MNH/FP/RH and will help ensure the technical and methodological soundness of all MNH project activities. In collaboration with the project team and partners, the position will support the design and implementation of service delivery strategies based on scientific evidence.

This position is contingent upon award from USAID and will be based in DC.
