Finance Manager US

The Financial Manager (US) is a strategic thinking partner actively participating in the financial management of CIVICUS, with a focus on the US entity. The Finance Manager (US), partnering with the Finance Manager (GLOBAL), is jointly responsible for the accounting, financial reporting budgeting, granting, tax/statutory compliance, and audit functions of the organisation. The position ensures that sufficient financial and accounting systems, controls, and standards are in place.

Research Analyst I

To provide research support for quantitative studies on various topics related to gender and social inclusion, migration, agriculture-nutrition linkages, individuals’ aspirations and attitudes, public investment, and political economy.

Director – Grants Management

Director of Grants Management will collaborate across teams in all aspects of grant budget planning, management, compliance, and reporting. Successful candidates require a minimum of seven years of nonprofit experience, with a minimum of five years of experience with grant compliance and reporting. The applicant will also have strong financial grant budgeting and forecasting experience, familiarity with donor contractual requirements, and the ability to work and communicate with stakeholders.

Finance Associate

Full-time position based in Washington, DC headquarters and is remote working during COVID period. Primary responsibilities are financial management, planning, tracking and reporting in alignment with the donor compliance requirements and PWA’s financial procedures, grant accounting and grant audit preparations.Benefits package includes medical, dental vision stipend of $450/month & generous monthly Work From Home Allowance. 401K employer contribution of 10% of annual salary after 12 months.

Communications Associate

Part time (80%) Digital Communications Professional to grow the profile and visibility of Peace Winds’ achievements and expertise by expanding the company’s online presence, developing relevant content for website and social media channels, and helping project teams and subject-matter experts communicate effectively about Peace Winds’ work. With growth, this position is expected to expand to full time status by end of 2021.


The Manager, Disbursements is an integral part of the Finance team’s daily disbursement activities, supporting NED’s international grantmaking program and democracy support activities.


The analyst will assist with the implementation, support, and management of current and future hardware and software technologies.


Responsible for day-to-day administration of the Fellowship Programs at the International Forum for Democratic Studies. Reports to the Director, Fellowship Programs.


This position provides hands-on (cradle-to-grave) management of an assigned grant portfolio, working closely with colleagues to provide effective and collaborative due diligence and oversight of grant programs.
