Manager, Grant Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Manager, Grants Administrator who will join our finance team to provide support to the organization for grants management of all grant resources received (private and public) and to ensure compliance with donor regulations. This position will support the Grant Management Unit and the organization’s capacity to manage the administration of awarded public and private grants (USAID, UN, DFID, ECHO, EU, World Bank, Global Fund, Gates, other foundations, etc.), i.e. review of proposals from the Compliance side (including the correct ICR and calculation, in the correct format for that donor), to the tracking of the grants administratively throughout their life cycle, including financial reporting and any extensions, to close-out of those grants, ensuring no overspends. This position should be familiar with 2 CFR 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements for Federal Awards, USAID Standard Provisions, UN, DfID, and EU rules and regulations, as well as compliance with major private donors’ rules and regulations. This position will assist in provide training for the Program, Finance, and Legal teams plus appropriate Country Offices (COs) on US Government grant rules and regulations.

Project Finance Manager, Community Partnerships for Respectful Care (CPRC) Project

We are seeking aProject Finance Manager to oversee all financial and accounting activities for the USAID-funded, five-year Community Partnerships for Respectful Care (CPRC) Project. This position will ensure that Americares has the financial management capacity to effectively and efficiently utilize USAID funds. The Project Finance Manager will, in coordination with the Country Directors, supervise the work of Country Field Office Finance Officers in Liberia and Tanzania in regard to the CPRC Project. S/he will report to the HQ-based CPRC Project Chief of Party under the supervision of the CFO/SVP for Operations.

Finance Officer

HIAS seeks a Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial activities of HIAS operations in Venezuela under the direction of the Director of Finance. The Finance Officer will work closely with the Finance Manager and the Finance Director to prepare timely and reliable financial reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly and annual). S/he will facilitate the timely disbursement of funds, including all payments made in USD, and monitor project expenditures. S/he will work closely with the Director of Finance be the liaison between Venezuela Finance and HQ Finance.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the work of the sub-region, including producing quality material in a timely manner, completion of all tasks and responsibilities, rigorous review and oversight of portfolio, travel planning, adherence to Endowment policies; staff development and discipline; and administrative and budget tracking. The Senior Manager serves as part of the regional team leadership, helping set strategy, assess political developments, and management of personnel, including staffing levels and hiring. Depending on the composition of the team and the size of the grants portfolio, the Senior Manager may also manage grants.

2059 ASSOCIATE EDITOR, CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL MEDIA ASSISTANCE (CIMA)

The Associate Editor of CIMA reports to CIMA’s Associate Director / Editor and is responsible for substantive components of CIMA’s research and publications program, including supporting the development of research ideas, coordinating publications efforts and working with writers across the globe.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the work of the sub-region, including producing quality material in a timely manner, completion of all tasks and responsibilities, rigorous review and oversight of portfolio, travel planning, adherence to Endowment policies; staff development and discipline; and administrative and budget tracking. The Senior Manager serves as part of the regional team leadership, helping set strategy, assess political developments, and management of personnel, including staffing levels and hiring. Depending on the composition of the team and the size of the grants portfolio, the Senior Manager may also manage grants.

2061 SENIOR MANAGER, LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN

The Senior Manager reports to the Senior Director and is responsible for supervising the programmatic work of Cuba and Central America, including direct supervisory responsibility for the work of assigned assistant program officers, program officers, and senior program officers. The Senior Manager is responsible for the work of the Cuba and Central America portfolio, including producing quality material in a timely manner, completion of all tasks and responsibilities, rigorous review and oversight of portfolios, travel planning, adherence to Endowment policies; staff development and discipline; and administrative and budget tracking. The Senior Manager serves as part of the regional team leadership, helping set strategy, assess political developments, and management of personnel, including staffing levels and hiring. Depending on the composition of the team and the size of the grants portfolio, the Senior Manager may also manage grants.

2062 SENIOR MANAGER, AFRICA

The Senior Manager reports to the Senior Director and is responsible for supervising the programmatic work of a sub-region or priority country program(s) in Africa, including direct supervisory responsibility for the work of assigned assistant program officers, program officers, and senior program officers. The Senior Manager is responsible for the work of the sub-region, including producing quality material in a timely manner, completion of all tasks and responsibilities, rigorous review and oversight of portfolio, travel planning, adherence to Endowment policies; staff development and discipline; and administrative and budget tracking. The Senior Manager serves as part of the regional team leadership, helping set strategy, assess political developments, and management of personnel, including staffing levels and hiring. Depending on the composition of the team and the size of the grants portfolio, the Senior Manager may also manage grants.

Senior Advisor, Organizational Capacity Building

The Senior Advisor, Organizational Capacity Building, will provide capacity development support for local organizations partnering with CIHEB to operate as fully independent, strategically positioned prime recipients of U.S. Government and other sponsor funds.
