Staff Care and Resilience Service Coordinator

This full-time position serves as a key member of the staff care and resilience team and focuses on coordinating the implementation and delivery of our services to clients around the world. This includes working closely with KonTerra Staff Care & Resilience Account Managers and service providers to ensure that services are implemented in a responsive and professional manner.

Director, Latin America and the Caribbean

This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for all Freedom House (FH) activities in and related to Latin America, including policy research, advocacy, and on the ground programming activities in line with FH’s mission and strategic framework. The position requires a candidate with deep knowledge of democracy and governance issues throughout the region, relationships there (including with civil society organizations (CSOs), government entities, the diplomatic community, etc.), and relationships with relevant USG executive and congressional branch entities (including USG donors supporting democracy programs in the region). These qualifications must be combined with a proven record of: designing and carrying out successful policy research and policy advocacy initiatives before the U.S. Congress and executive branch; designing and implementing innovative USG-funded democracy programming throughout the region that produce verifiable results; and effectively leading and managing diverse staff, including overseas operations.

Subaward and Contract Specialist, Latin America and the Caribbean

Experienced Subaward and Contract Specialist to administer the grant-making and sub-contracting processes of Freedom House, a mid-sized NGO with an annual budget over $30 million. Position works with the Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Team and will collectively manage the grant-making and sub-contracting procedures for Freedom House’s subawards and sub-contracts in collaboration with the Finance Department. Responsible for pre-award risk assessments, procurement reviews, subgrant and contract agreements, subaward financial report reviews, subrecipient monitoring, closeout procedures, and other similar functions as necessary. Position reports to the Senior Program Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. Peers includes other Subaward and Contract Associates.

Country Director – Democratic Republic of Congo

The Country Director is responsible for the overall implementation of WCS’s activities in DRC. This includes the development of program strategic priorities, communication and coordination with the government and other partners inside and outside the country; and recruitment and oversight of staff to implement these strategic priorities. The DRC Program is managed within WCS’s Central Africa Regional Program.

Coordinator, Global Internal Compliance

Description

The Coordinator, Global Internal Compliance will be responsible for providing cradle-to-grave support to his/her assigned portfolio of organizational agreements. Under the guidance of the supervisor, the position will ensure proper maintenance and functionality of the agreements management system. This position will provide support to Global Internal Compliance function to maintain compliance with donor rules and regulations and RA policies and procedures.
