Position Summary

The OGP Local Program Lead (The Lead) will be responsible for leading the implementation of an ambitious new strategy for significantly scaling OGP’s efforts to support open local government. The Lead will manage a small team of 2-3 staff and work with members of OGP’s Management team and thematic partners with a highly collaborative approach to develop and execute long and medium-term strategies for the Local program.

In the short-to-medium term, the Lead will be responsible for program strategies and implementation, identifying and recruiting a strong pipeline of local leaders, and overseeing the development of a strong learning and knowledge sharing program and network. In the long term, the Lead will be responsible for increasing OGP’s visibility as a center of excellence for open local government – as an incubator for promising reforms, and as a hub for accessing knowledge resources, subject matter and practitioner support.

The position involves representing OGP with members of OGP’s Steering Committee, current and prospective funders and partners, and mid-to-senior level leaders from local/subnational governments and civil society. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading local open government reform and share attributes of a startup leader with the ability to effectively operate across all levels of organizations, provide vision and direction, fundraising to match growth aspirations, while also being responsible for day-to-day program implementation.

Compliance Manager

Summary: Provides overall support for implementation of Pathfinder’s organizational compliance program and serves as the subject matter expert for internal investigations. Conducts, oversees, and collaborates on in-country investigations as appropriate, including in coordination with Internal Audit and by providing guidance to in-country investigators and Local Compliance Officers (LCOs). Supports the implementation of risk management and mitigation controls to ensure compliance with applicable US and international laws and regulations; donor requirements; and Pathfinder policies, procedures and standards of conduct.

Supervising Attorney

HIAS seeks a Supervising Attorney to provide direct representation of mostly non-detained applicants for immigration benefits, primarily asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ), T visas and U visas before the Immigration Court (EOIR), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and the New York family courts. S/he supervises HIAS’ attorneys and law intern staff in New York City, providing mentorship, case review, and opportunities for growth and development in the field. Supervising Attorney also manages day to day operations of HIAS legal staff in NYC, in coordination with Director, HIAS New York and HIAS’ Legal Director (in Silver Spring).

Contract Administrator, Global Health Security (9663)
